I think version 1 worked pretty good.... especially having the ability to set the machine down and rotate the camera to view the dig, good job....details on build or are there plans to produce for others?

if you want to sell one of those i would be very interested in one. if not could you give me details on where to get parts?
thanks,
gene

This was done on a CNC machine in a shop. In the next couple days I'll have a professional-grade version of this. It will be custom machined to fix exactly to the awkward shape of the CTX. If there's enough interest I'm going to have an entire batch made. I'll even include a warranty. :)

Good i'm looking forward to more videos on the ctx3030. I'm getting tiered of reruns.

I hunt 4 - 5 private home sites a week and turn up lots of silver. There will be plenty of new CTX videos coming soon!

Well done James.

Filming the CTX screen is DAMN hard!

I've tried a few jigs like you have done. They worked loose with camera weight. I came to the conclusion that a small 'compact' with HD capability is just what the doctor ordered!
Am working on a CTX film currently and it should be posted on YouTube in the next few weeks.

Good Hunting

I got a go pro camera I also got the housing bundle with it I think it was 20 bucks . It has a waterproof housing and a wind proof housing and some other attachments .The only thing I had to buy after that was a roll bar attachment which swivels up down side to side anywhere you want to point it 20 bucks also all from wally world . The only problem is hitting the pinpoint button you need a real long finger lol  sube
