Just saw this announcement on the Minelab Website. Does anyone know what this is all about? In other words could this be the long awaited CTX 3030 update that we have been waiting for? Not getting my hopes up too much! :) If so strange that they haven't advertised it broadly!!!

Oh well, just checked furhter and dissapointed - They Added Chinese language Sorry folks :-(

Wow, that is it? Boy is it future proofed now....
 
Absolutely amazing, after over 4 years of users making very common sense suggestions/requests for improvements and all of the waiting, these clowns offer this as an update, Wow!
 
Call me crazy, but did they add a file called: " CTX 3030 Software Upgrade August 2016.mlb " to the download section?

I am waiting for the (money) and upgrades to buy one of the CTX3030s? Not sure which will come first.
 
The detector is great as is. There are some enhancements that we had hoped to see implemented over time, but that hasn't came to fruition..Even without them I would buy it again, just without the expectation of updates

That's the real test. If you didn't have a CTX and knowing what you know, would you buy one today? Hell Yes for me.
