CTX Back !

Just got my CTX back from repairs (line in the screen ) and found the process a fairly smooth one . Total down time was about 2 weeks. I detect on average 10 hours a week during our season ( Oct. - March ) and a couple hours a week during off season . I mainly search as close to the surf line without actually getting into the water. After each hunt I just take the CTX in the shower and hose it off . I've got about 900 to 1000 hours of use and am very happy with its durability especially being repaired with only 2 months warranty left . This season I'm at 47 gold since Oct. and just found a 15 gram class ring . I've read where the CTX is a silver killer but it's also deadly on gold and small gold . Over half of these were found using the 17" coil with the smallest ring being .9 gram. I love the CTX and glad to have her back !

Very cool, great success with your CTX, I am nervous about getting it wet, and this makes me feel better about that.

Good for you! That's a nice pile of gold.

Awe-inspiring amount of bullion - Well done.
