CTX finally hit on some silver!

Went out to a buddies house yesterday for some detecting. My 2nd trip out with the CTX. His house was built in the 30s and has a huge front yard. Right off the bat I found 3 wheat pennies. Spent a few hours semi-gridding the yard. Ended up with a 1910 Barber dime (my first Barber dime), 6 wheat pennies, a silver religious medallion, a key, and $2.20 in clad. Had some trouble pinpointing at first (think I was trying to pin poin some iron wrap-around). I started only digging solid signals that would repeat every swing from two directions, and the pinpointing got a little better. Do you guys find any keepers with just one way signals with the CTX?

Thanks for looking!!!

Nice! I got my first this past weekend! It's a GREAT feeling!

Nice find, I dug my first one way signal" keeper "yesterday!, It was a 1912 Barber Dime. It had good audio "too good to pass up" ,and was repeatable from that one direction " it did not move around under the coil like trash does", and also pin pointed well.
While I have not yet found many good targets the CTX would not give a 2 way hit, in my experience it does happen.

I recently found a really strong oneway signal that turned out to be a barber half on edge next to a nail...most of the oneway signals I dig though are iron...

I have yet to find any good one way signals. Hopefully that changes soon. Good job.
