I'm not giving up my etrac just yet, I read a report on the ctx that stated no increase in depth over the etrac was heavy and caused more shoulder strain, from what I got out of his test was the only thing that made it better than the etrac was being waterproof. Being waterproof to me is not a big deal as I don't like hunting in the rain anyway.
-------Seriously though, I think some of the features (and a few others) you mentioned on the CTX is going to make that detector a force to be reckoned with.-----In the end though, time in the field (and results obtained) with actual hunters is what will either make it or break it.---We'll see! ----------Del
