CTX Wireless Headphones with VX3???

Since both units use the 2.4GHz (ISM band) protocal, can they be paired? The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering a used White's VX3 and wondering if the headphones from my CTX-3030 will work with it.

I seriously doubt it, as they are not designed to universally compatible as would be the case in bluetooth devices (which they certainly are not - totally different technology). I am positive there are different channels involved at the very least, but I cannot speak to the electronics because I do not have the full details, nor is either manufacturer providing grainular detail on the designs.

But I have owned both machines (V3i and now, CTX). The Whites wireless phones are incredibly comfortable and sound great. But they are very warm in the summertime and they don't like any moisture - even sweat can damage them! I prefer the wireless adapter design of the CTX because I can use any phones I choose. When it is a hot day I often use earbuds with an 1/8 to 1/4 adapter. No muss, no fuss and wireless to boot! I can keep the sweat off the wireless reciever by moving it away from my sweaty areas. Yes, I know it's an ugly sight and subject, but I'm just offering the facts here folks!

Best of luck in any case. Both are excellent machines depending on the application of the technology.
