CTX Wouldn't Power On

Took the CTX out today to do some detecting. When I got to my destination and ready to start my hunt, I pushed the power button to turn on the detector and nothing happened. Tried removing and reinstalling the battery, replacing the rechargeable battery with the alkaline battery pack, changed coils and still nothing happened. The rechargeable battery had been freshly charged prior to leaving for the hunt. Checked the alkaline batteries when I got home to make sure they were good, and they were. The detector worked just fine the last time out showing nothing that would indicate a problem. I can't imagine what went wrong, but I can imagine it's going back to Minelab for service.

Try cleaning your electric contacts with electric contact cleaner first it comes in a spray bottle and drys and leaves no residue other than that I don't know what else to try . sube
