CTX3030 Carry Bag with 17” Coil

Does Minelab make a bag that allows you to leave the 17” Coil on?

Yes, they do. You simply have to unlatch the latch on the rod clamp, slide the coil/lower rod upward within the upper rod until the lower rod "cam" exits the upper rod -- i.e. so that you can rotate the coil. Then, rotate the rod/coil 90 degrees, and then re-latch the latch. At that point, the machine (with collapsed lower rod and a coil oriented 90 degrees from "normal detecting position," it fits perfectly. Minelab part number 3011-0277.
