Was at some of the Gulf Beaches around Sarasota and St. Pete. Conditions were pretty poor with wind and waves.
Temps were around 72, sunny with water temp in the low to mid 60's. Almost no one in the water and not many bikinis out.
I was having problems with hearing anything due to the high wind and wave action so I tried the electrical tape over the drain holes on the stock Excalibur II yellow Koss headphones and I was amazed how well the tape stopped so much of the noise.
Anyone have any other recommendations as to improving the stock Excalibur II Koss headphone in regards to exterior noise reduction?
Hard to believe how much noise there is on a beach on a windy wavey day.
Oh yeah....found just a few clads and the water was just too rough to go where the good stuff is. Hopefully the waves will be less this coming week.

They just dont keep enough external noise out and yes I run my volume at full or near otherwise in wind you wouldn't hear any signals. Its just so hard in wind roar to pick out subtle changes in threshold which may indicate a deep target etc.
