CZ5 depth for a clad dime?

Hello Ken Just a simple air test clad dime 7 inches in normal mode and 6 inches in salt mode .I dont care to much for air test,as coins need a dirt matrix to get good depth. My CZ-5 produces old coins at 7to10 inches on a regular basis!! HH Tony:detecting:

A cold one 8-9 inches, a hot one 11 inches plus in normal mode.....seems like depending on the tuning and particuliar unit there indeed can be a variance of several inches.

Not a fan of air tests myself and in the field during normal conditions is more accurate. Keep in mind a slow swing and an experienced operator should all be dialed in and above are just ball park but using many model CZ's over the years feel line one is quite accurate..

Forgotten note. The airtest were performed at sensitivity setting at 3.If a sensitivity setting of 6 is used , good 11 inch responces are possible, but the CZ tends to false more at sensitivity above 3.5, and the signals produced seem to be larger then coin sized targets. Tony:detecting:
