Wait, the D1 has the same legs??? WOW, I did not know that.Something that should have been corrected loooong ago! especially when their Deus 2 came out.
Thanks, targits. There must be some reasoning for the design I'm missing...it's been years and two detectors now, they would have surely changed the design by now if it wasn't what they wanted...no?it wasnt designed by xp it was designed by regtons staff at the company in the uk the xp main dealers in uk
Yeah, you wouldn't need much more length, I guess many people made a work a round.I extended mine out and down about 1 1/2 " with a 50 cent dark grey pipe hanger cut in half (one for each side). Colored them black with a Sharpie. Works great and looks great. Total weight is about 1/2 ounce, I definitely need to learn how to send pics. My apology.
Does that clamp hit your leg when swinging? With Deus1 I found the stand legs to be useless, same for the Deus 2.
A easy inexpensive solution that works well for me is to use a modified spring clamp.
Cutting the pad arms off and shorter allows the clamp to spread farther improving stability. It goes on or off in seconds.
