Damn drizzle.....

It rained today all day. A light-medium drizzle.

My Omega should be here tomorrow. Guess I'll have to convert a negative to a positive and take advantage of the wet grounds!

John, you may be getting what we had last night. Rain had blown through by about 4a. Good luck with the Omega, it is a fun machine. HH jim tn

Lol, Wet ground is a good thing! Machine does better with moist ground.

you should try over here in Scotland, Dry ground is a luxury, every dig is a mudfest up to your armpits in filth
but we love it and thats how we find the good stuff. at the moment its 14c and foggy, absolutely roasting. lol.

John, take that 'down' time to do indoor bench testing with as many targets (good/junk) as possible. Do alot of good/junk co-located target testing. Learn the language of the Omega. This will speed up the learning process and cut down on digging alot of useless holes in the field. My belief is that at least 80% of 'knowing' a machine can be achieved indoors. Why waste time digging junk holes in the field. Time in field is limited, so focus on knowing good sounds before digging.

Rain screwed-up my afternoon today, too. Spent the morning putting in a new dishwasher for wifey, and was going out this afternoon to get up a tree stand. Not gonna happen.

Know what you mean. Been raining the last two days, and today snow flurries. :nopity: Not much season left here in Wisconsin. Tomorrow sounds better around here. I will go to a sand beach to hunt to avoid the mud till things dry out some. Enjoy that Omega, and post the finds.
