DEEP and FAST ?

I still see some users recommending using fast AND deep ON at the Same Time. It seems that one of the selections would take precedence over the other if both were turned on at the same time.Anyone know for sure? I use both in different situations ,but never at the same time. I know what they do, but again the question is , Does one override the other when both are on? Thanks ..Rich

Found this video on fast and deep.

I don't use deep but I do use fast, a gain of 9 which should be similar to deep, together with audio 1. I know that is a weird setup but that's what I use. As far as Deep and fast together, I have read that some use it but I can't help you with that one, maybe do some tests in your coin plot and let us know what you think?

Thanks for the replies, I guess nobody really knows if one setting takes precedence over the other, or if they just null each other out and act like with both off. I couldn't watch the movie due to bandwith limits here but I saw it before and don't remember Des saying if one setting overrides the other tho.I tried it in the field this morning on a couple of targets and it seems to act like fast on , when both are engaged , but I can't say that with alot of confidence. I was just curious, It doesn't really matter....Thanks ..Rich.. BTW I got a '44 wash qtr this morning and 5 or 6 wheats...HH.. EXII
