Deep Buffalo Nickle!!!

Well guys it paid off digging those deep 14/15 on the Quattro's TID meter. I pulled out an 1936 S Buffalo nickle today at about 7 or 8 inches. The Quattro gave me a nice loud low tone and I figured it was a nickle. This is my first for the Quattro.

Nice find John; these machines are dead-on for nickels. I'm not much into hunting nickels because most of the places I go are so trashy I notch our 14 & 15, but, if in a clean area, I look for nickels too.

What I have been doing in conductive tones keep the TID numbers 13, 14 and 15 and dig the deeper solid sounding tones, I have been doing this in trashy area and been pulling out a lot of nickles within the trash. I think it is just a matter of time when I pull out gold ring too. You might dig a couple pieces of trash but I it will be worth it in the long run.
