Got out early to beat some of the heat today and did a couple parks. These places have older coins but they require a lot of deep digging. Most of the coins are about 8-10 inches down. Got some wheats also.
I was rewarded with these 3 silver Roosevelts, a silver & turquoise ring, a silver war nickel, 1943, and this piece of bracelet that tested out as silver. Nice and heavy, couldn't find the rest of it.
Also dug this large button that Says ROMA XXVI. Any ideas ? The wheaty is gold plated and sits in a rim that had a loop on it but broke off. Steve in so az

Going in from 100 plus degrees to 40 or below degrees would be like walking out of an oven and into a freezer! Don't think a person could take either temp for very long!
