Deeper All Metal with F-75

Ditto. Quarters trigger a beep at the same air distance as nickels. The F-75 has always been a nickel sweeper for me. Either the other detectorists in the area discriminate them out, think they're trash or are just too lazy to dig nickels. I'm happy with a handful, any time.

The higher frequency is why it detects deep nickels.

Got it back today, tried doing an air-test outside with no luck. 17 degrees, 20 mile winds with some snow. They changed circuit board, now 2/15 ser, and replaced the 11'' coil. Also shipped back to me 2 day usps priority. Thanks again Fisher. Will be cold through Friday, if not traded by then i will try to get these air-tests done. Tom

Noticed something in reading through the manual:

The Boost Process in DISCR Mode also modifies the Motion All Metal mode. For those of you finding less depth in AM it might be worth a try to set the detector in Boost before switching over to All Metal.

Cache process also effects Motion All Metal.

This might be old news to most but I had't had the Boost or Cache in my pre-upgraded F-75.

I have a new F75 SE that I brought used that was suppose to have been recently brought. These are some air test that I did today in AM. BP on from Disc. DE wasn't too much different. Threshold 0, Sen. 80. Clad quater13'' Clad dime12" Nickle 16 and one half inches. These tests were done outside in the open with background noise. I think that I can get an half inch too an inch more with headphones. I think that I have a good one.
