Deepest coil for my Explorer that is under 15"

I'm sure this has been beaten to death, but what is the deepest seeking coil under 15". I use an Explorer II and I'd like to get the deepest coil out there. Not interested in a WOT or a "monster" coil yet. Any advice or comparisons are much appreciated. Oh... I currently have an (8.5" x 11.5" Platypus), (8" Minelab), and a (5.5" Sunray).

12x10 SEF coil I would say from what I have been reading on here since they came out.

The SEF has me very interested. You think it might have more depth than the new Pro coil?

I would definatley go with the 2 new coils just out...The SE Pro Coil 11".........or the New SEF 10"x12"......Hard to beat those.....I have not had very good feelings or resualts about the big coils.....they are heavy and the other 2 coils just mentioned are very compariable in depth but better seperation of close prox. targets....better stability....the big coils will choke and null in heavy mineralized ground and trashy sites.....I own the 11" SE Pro....I want the SEF 10"x12" but don't have the $ right now....either one is your best bet....

I figure I'll probably end up selling my Platypus and putting the money towards an SEF 10" x 12". The Pro is a little lighter I've heard.

Correct.....the Pro...It is very comfortable to use and even more of a pleasure to use when x-1 probe is not on....if you have a hand held pin pointer it comes in handy...but not using x-1 is a bummer....
