I still stand by my initial thoughts on emi and detecting in places with low or no emi David.
Also how the Deus 2 may be configured upon start up with or without auto frequency scan ......people do need to be aware of this and how to check if their unit does this
I want to redo my video response and go into detail on how my Deus was configured on start up but I doubt I will have time today.
Thanks to you I did find out it was not doing an automatic frequency scan by going through my settings upon start up.
Also for those of you who does not know this, Sharpshooter here responded to a comment in which I said if the OP was not experiencing any EMI that I did not see that he would have to do a frequency scan.
I never stated never stared frequency scan was unnecessary or unimportant.
He also stated he was not searching beside another detectorist.
