Deus ain't half bad

squirrel1

Well-known member
Dug this little lady today along with a few other goodies.

My first standing Liberty half.

Deus would not hit this coin in reactivity 2, but did in reactivity 3.

Now that's cool! Don't find those as often as I used to back in the old days. Didn't know about that reactivity setting either...nice to know. Thanks for sharing!

12 kHz

97 on the meter, but the Deus could have had its tid ramp up, due to depth vs reactivity. Didn't check out of the ground.

A great looking coin for sure - congrats !

Thanks folks. With the it seems above average temps for this time of year--- better get to digging while you can!!!!

At this time of year , how do you keep your fingers from cracking? I don't like to use gloves much and carry a damp rag to wipe my hands off. After a long day my fingers crack on the ends and that hurts. Dose anyone know of what can be put on them? Thanks flintstone

I use this stuff... Just be sure to use a SMALL amount and rub it in before going to bed...

Was there a lot of nails or other iron around it hiding it? Great find. Those always sounded like a loud aluminum can with a Sovereign GT. HH=Mark

Thanks all. Didn't want to steal your post, I just know you all hunt lot and would know what to do. Thanks Flintstone

Flintstone,
By all means, if you have any questions. Ask away.

You won't offend me at all.

This find of mine---I care less of it vs seeing you get squared away with needed info and help.

Cheers

Remember, there are no bad or dumb questions either.
