Deus find...1901 Morgan Silver Dollar! :clapping:

I haven't found many of these in my 40+ years of metal detecting but the Deus pulled this one out near a sidewalk renovation in front of and old plantation style home circa 1880's.
Only 3 inches deep...read a "97-98" on the screen...thought it was a big round piece of aluminum pipe in the dirt clod...until I noticed the reeded edge!

1901 O...New Orleans mint. Too bad it wasn't an "S" mint mark as the value would have been 10 times higher. But I ain't complaining...I'm celebrating!

I was using 18kHz...basic 1 program...full tones.
