Deus II - Stuck on "Upgrade" Screen

Hi all-

I upgraded from 2.0 to 4.1. Seemed successful but then got confused as to whether I needed to update the headphones. I did what I thought was right - connect the headphones to the laptop and run "upgrader" again and now the remote is stuck on "Update" screen. Even "Force Start" isn't doing anything. Anybody here that can offer some advice?

Thanks in advance.

Update - finally got it out of "update" screen by shutting down every window and restarting the laptop. Went back into the utility, restarted the update and the re-install went fine.

Next question: Do I need to update the headphones and pin pointer?

I'm having the same issue. I've cleaned chrome browser's cache, rebooted my mac, and tried both the 3way plug and a single plug to update. One note, my mbpro m4max only has usb-c ports. I don't have any other computer I can use...

Overview of Connections:
Headphones -> MINI-USB cable to USB-A -> USB-C Port replicator -> mbpro : Result no device can be found
If I plug the RC Device -> Proprietary 9PIN screw-in plug on the 3-way pony plug to USB-A -> USB-C Port Replicator -> mbpro : Then it finds the unit and i can preform a failed update

Please help me figure this out...

I know jack about a Mac computer.
I do think you will only get results though with the single cable.
I am presuming you are tslking Baku’s Deus 2 in your post here.

i was able to get the data transfer to happen by logging out of the website, then logging back in. It detected it immediately and completed the update.
