DG stands for Dug Gold!

Over on the CZ thread, Harvdog got us going about digging mid tones, so I accepted the challenge, GLAD I DID!
After yesterdays clad stab and little gold, I was pretty worn out, but I got up early like usual and was checking on the silver and gold prices and reading these forums of course and I figured I'd go down to the place I've cleaned up pretty good and just watch the World wake up and stab midtones...This little ring is 14k, has 7 diamonds in it, and fits the Wife perfectly! It was a solid nickle signal, so I stabbed and missed...got up and rescanned, dang, nickle signal shallow...stabbed again...missed again...usually that means a ring, or a pulltab.. slowed way down and gently probed and out of the grass rooots this thing showed up! I found this "DG" symbol just before the ring, and I figured it meant "Dug Gold" so I did! Oh, the Wife says she'll make me a bagel if I let her keep it!

Lessons learned: midtones are not always junk, go metal detecting often, and NEVER show your finds to anyone, especially when you want to cash them in and get that new big coil from Bart!
