I received a call from my son, he got a call at the water dept, asking if they had a metal detector they could borrow. They explained that they had lost a wedding ring & was hoping to find it. He told her that he would call his dad & see if I was around & could help her out. I was out of town & called her to let her know I would be in town today if she still needed help. She called this morning & asked if I could come out & look for her ring, so I loaded up the MXT & headed out. I took some time & I was not getting any good hits, as I was about to give up I thought I would go over the area next to the lawn that had a boarder along it. Going down the line at first I was getting a signal from metal in the boarder strip but as I looked at the VDI it said 26 & jumped around a bit so as I parted the grass there was the ring. 14K with diamonds as I handed it to the young lady she started to cry & asked how much she owed me. I told her that seeing the smile on her face was all the payment I needed.

P.S. this is the first gold grin that I have found in the 22 to 28 vdi gonna have to start looking harder in those ranges. Sorry no pics,

Thanks for the heartwarming story Bula. What a great feeling. That smile is priceless for sure. You're a wonderful man for recovering her ring for her. Bless you!

You know what they say...........It comes back ten fold. Believe me, it does too.
