Cool, windy and wet so just stayed around the neighborhood. Cheap little love pendant and a Pierre Daren watch that is still running but has moisture in it. Nice thing about cool weather it kept the kids away. Only a few kids at the lots doing their own thing, playing... Thanks for looking. Happy Trails.....Z

You've had a great summer Zeek, nice cool weather for a few more sorties into the clad fields this year eh? I'll be heading down to Chattanooga tomorrow for business, but may get a chance to do a little stabbin'. You dont need a deep neg thresh in the totlots, right? unless they are gravel?

I run the F70 at -4 some times -5 threshold in the tot lots, depends on trash. It gets closer to the poles. It seems to me that it narrows the target size. Could be that I am just goofy??? I have been known to hear things other don't. :crazy: I am using the 6" coil almost all the time. Great coil. Have a safe trip Mud.... Happy Trails....Z

Elton I put the watch on the window sill and the moisture is gone. My great grandson likes the watch, now have to look for a band for it. It is running and keeps pretty good time.
Terra it is not my kind of watch. First I can't see the numbers that well. I have been using atomic watches for decades. I guess they call them radio controlled watches now. Never have to set them and receives the signal every night.
Tim the last few summers I have been around 2-4,000 coins so 5,000 is a lot for me. Still trying to get 6,000 this summer.

Thanks Curt. I am up to 5335 as of this morning. I have been working on another project the last 3 hunts. So coin numbers have taken a back seat to my V3i project. Have the F70 in it's box so I am not tempted to take it out when things get frustrating. It hunts so much differently and there is much to learn. My friend is helping me because he has had his for 2 summers and he is pretty good with the V. Thanks again. Happy Trails ....Z
 
Thanks for replies guys. Not watching this forum very close anymore. Not posting much just out hunting as much as I can with new detector. V3i is doing its job, now if only I could catch up to it. :rofl:
Curtis the new total for coins this season is: 5,620 coins and the total amount is $361.98. :clapping: I could pass the 6,000 mark this season? :thumbup:
