We made some good minie ball finds and I got lucky with a nice Coat Button - 91st Reg - N.Y.V. that were near Port Hudson LA.

Thanks guys. The metal part way at the end of the video is probably part of a .69 cal musket. We are still checking into it. CCH.
 
2 Much Trash -

Its actually the front end part of a .69 cal musket, probably a U.S. Model 1842 (either Springfield or Harper's Ferry ??) . Thats why you never throw anything "cool" looking away that might have the slightest possiblitly of being something from the CW period. LOL. I sure do appreciate your comments. cch.
