Digging to China

Decided to go out today and clear out an area in the yard to make a test garden. Found a rusty a fence staple to start.
Then hit a piece of deep iron. Took a while, but finally found an old rusty nail a ways down. Next to this hole got another
hit from deep iron. Started digging and digging and digging and digging and still couldn't get it out of the hole!!
Went over it several times with the E and each time it was pinpointing over the hole. I dug down about 18" and couldn't
find it. So I just called it and filled the hole. Any one else out there have problems with iron signals that never come out of the hole?

Part Of The Game

Especially when you start using a Detector that can pick up deep targets!

Good Luck on your future finds!

It happens....it could be large object. It could be a pipe. It could be several things. Were the numbers any good? If you really want to know and learn something, go back with a big(ger) shovel and find out.

Good luck!
