Digging Tools of Yesteryear

Tried all those plus garden trowels back then as well.
Nothing work as good as a knife and a bent over screwdriver.
Still have my 1970's Buck like knife bought at K-mart. Still use now and then since I bought a newer Remington that fits the bill nicely.

Wow, just noticed my probes tip has worn down it bent tip and now comes to a point. Will have to redo the tip. Was wondering why coin popping
wasn't as easy as it once was..

With the added depth capabilities of the new machine you purchased................. You most likely will want to be able to go a little deeper for retrieval.. on some targets.. So you may need to adjust your tool selection to meet the demand... Other than that, your still good to go.. enjoy !!
