Dime trifecta.

Finally got in a good four hour hunt this morning which finally also yielded me some silver. The heat and dry ground has cut into my hunting time pretty good this month. In fact, July has been a tough silver month for me, with but 2, I believe, before today and one of those which I got earlier in the week was as smooth as, well, silk. Under the loop it does look like it could be a seated dime, but can't tell for sure. Anyway, got a 1910 Barber, 30 Merc and a 54 Rosie this morning. The 3 wheat cents are 19d, 22 and a 37. The medal has QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND on both sides. Don't have a clue what it is. Along the way got 2 mini's and a chunk of lead and 33 cents in clad and Memorial cents.....and several pieces of trash. I was swinging the LTD with the 11" coil. Thanks for looking. HH jim tn

You always do so well when you switch back to your Fisher detectors.

You Da Man, Jim!! Hopefully this rain we are to get today and next couple of days will make diggin' a little more bearable. I plan to get out Sat. & Sun, as that Alaskan Cruise last week took up two weekends of no swingin, did not get to pan any gold either!
Great Job on the Trifecta!

Thanks Elton and Terry. I got a break this morning on the site as there was little traffic around and was able to swing on some stretches I hadn't been able to before, or, only in passing, anyway. Terry, I am looking forward to the fall and winter months so we can really work the whole place. Oh, and Terry, I am really sorry that cruise left you no swinging time. My heart is bleeding for you. Take care, guys. HH jim tn

Mud, I do love recovering old silver coins. There is just something exciting about seeing that first glint of silver in the dirt. Terra, although the Barber came out a little dark, it is in very fine condition with almost a full Liberty. Hope everyone can dig good ones this weekend. HH jim tn

Some great detecting there Jim. When I look at your posts you make it look so easy to dig those neat coins up. Nice work Jim....Z
