DIPPING NEEDLE, DOWSING ROD, METAL DETECTOR???

mbeml

New member
The round glass sealed tube is filled with a gold colored metal looking flake. Any guesses out there?

Sucker finder...

Designed to find one that's born every minute...

Thanks for your info on my sucker detector. Do you know anything more about them. Such at when they were make, sold, etc?

Thanks again for the input,
Mike

These things are still being made, and suckers are still buying them...There has been no definitive proof that these items can consistently and accurately locate what your looking for...It is all smoke and mirrors, designed to lure in the GREEDY...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QYYAeyGGto&feature=related

All hocus Pokus...Bionic (that's 2 onics you know.)...Ionic (I have an ionic smoke detector...Would that detect this detector, and would that not cause interference?)...Give me a break!

HH,

I don't understand  Kellyco sells various models for BIG money so they MUST work. I'm sure they would not take our money and send us something that was just a hoax............... would they? http://www.kellycodetectors.com/anderson/anderson.htm

Tell me it is not so.

As an electronics engineer two things...

Magnetic fields do not produce ionization. They do influence charged particles or ions. The aurora is an eample. This meter is pure hookum.. The man,s wearing gold metal rim glasses...
Old gold versus new? Boy is that deep...

Bionic energy? Its true the human body produces electrical fields they are however so very very weak that an amplifier is needed to boost the signal enough to detect...

Wear hip waders if you buy this as you are wading in the deepest of bovine excrement I can imagine.....

A friend of mine wrote a book on the subject and has investigated these types of things for years. Its Water Witching USA.

Wow, I saw this thread when it was first made and didn't realize what it was. I thought it was a JOKE from the original poster. Now that I know what you guys are refering to, I'm ashamed that kellyco sells this cr*p. For a little over $1800 you can own this Master Rod http://www.kellycodetectors.com/anderson/precisionmasterrod3.htm and it retails for $2500! Pure BS.

Put that money on real detector and have a cool grand left over.

If I saw a guy using this garbage I would walk, no RUN, the opposite direction! lol

Sure Kelly Co sells items with radioactive elements in them overseas..... wonder what kind of License they have for that.....

Deep Deep deep in to the swamp of idiocy one has to roam to beleive in this pseudoscience...

I have personally seen several models of these "long range" detectors. They don't appear to follow logic, nor do they appear to be built in a manner that a good detector would mandate and would justify the expensive cost.....all powered by a 9 volt battery.

Doesn't Kellyco have a money back guarantee on what they sell....and if so....how do they make money on selling these items? Maybe they sell alot but if I bought one, I would certainly return it.

I think some models don't even require batteries. Like the string and pendulum that points where the gold is. If this "Pull" is natural, we would see trees bending over pointing at the same spot of the ground where treasures are buried.

Don't go snooping around in the dark in the "stand your ground" states or on private property.

That thing will get you shot without a question. Waving it around in a horizontal plane is reason for stand your ground.

A bunch of hocus pocus regardless of who sells it.

I will stick to waving a coil around.

Actually the technology behind the long range detectors is quite simple. Buried metals produce stronger and stronger energy fields the longer they are buried. The long range detectors are the same as metal detectors and work on specific frequencies. They are pricey but if you have an extra $15,000.00 they are worth every penny. Caution: it requires a lot of practice and knowledge of how they work to master the technique.
I had an old timer show me years ago how to locate buried wells with metal casing, pipes, wires, etc with nothing but 2 18" bent pieces of galvi wire. Nothing but natural disruptions in a energy field makes them work. TRY IT.... Take two pieces of galvi wire 18" long, bend into a L shape with 4" down and 14" straight on both wires. Put a piece of metal on the ground outside..... hold the wires loosely in your hands with the wires pointing away from you...... walk towards the piece of metal and the wires will cross directly over the metal... It has to be held loosely and straight with no tension on the wires but after a few tries you'll see it work. The reason it works is that the metal creates a disruption in the magnetic field and the wires pick it up. The same works with finding natural springs, water veins and other things. You can put a little gold on the ends of the same wires and they will pick up the locations of gold, Silver on the tips will find you silver etc. The only thing that makes it hard is that they only work when you are directly over the objects. The long range detectors work on a triangulating principle by putting out a signal and as you walk between the detector and the gold it guides you towards it. Others actually can pick up direction and without the wands locate large caches. The bad new is that they cost big bucks. We have a unit on order that cost almost $15,000.00 right now, and are going out to the company for personal training on how their unit works. They have a "try it before you buy it" policy, and we are bringing 6 ounces of gold, 6 ounces of silver, copper, some diamonds, emeralds etc and are going to be placing them in the woods approximately a mile away from the facility and have them show us how to find them..... we are going to see if their experts can find them..... if so, we will be buying 3 units within the first year. We will keep you informed on our progress, it wont be till July till we can go but it should be interesting!:twodetecting:

I called Kellyco about this....they said, it is a "professional type" of detector so the unit CANNOT be returned......Imagine that!

I believe every word, maybe I'll morgage my house to buy a couple units for myself. If two 'galvi' (maybe he means galvanized) wires will work, better just spend the $15,000 because nobody wants to have a cheap working model if someone is willing to charge $15k for a fancy one that can use the claim that the user has to be smarter than the detector. I'm pretty sure a forked stick comes with the same claims of finding anything your thinking about. Think 'water' and it finds water, think old gold and it finds old gold. Think new gold and it only finds new gold. I'd sell you a stick for $10 and tell you that you have to be smarter than the stick for it to work.....so you might not find anything after all. I wouldn't stamper around with a forked stick to begin with.

Research was done to test 58 dowsers' ability to detect water. None of them were more reliable than chance.
