hello all back again never posted in a few week , just had not alot of time you know how it is .... KIDS.. so yea me and my brother in law went to a local 1900's park that we found it was located right next to a school so it had its perks ....so the started out slow . a few coinage , Penny's , and more Penny's ..and the heat started Rollin in 87 today i told him so lets choke some Gatorade aid down and get to business .. so i continued sweeping and same old Penny's around this tree , about 5 in count ..so i took 5 more steps and the the 250 went nuts bounceing every where on this one spot . so i lowered the sens to 2 bars same stuff .. so i said JUST DIG it , i dig everything anyways but it acted just like a pop can sort of , it would hit 6in off the ground . so i start to dig and my digger would strike somethin like a rock , so i made a bigger plug . i lifted the plug and like 40 Penny's where sleeping in the .. WOW what a coin spill who would hide theses there ??? . so i was all excited feeling really good . i told my bro lookey what i got , he was amazed . so i went on around this park and i hit a good signal about 7in deep, in the silver , Quarter range . i dug down to find the SHRADER balloon tire gauge , it dates back to the 1920's .. yeee haaaaa i was to happy. then it only got better , i went by this old shed that was all falling apart and pulled 2 wheat's. side by side wow. i was feeling good , some what , besides the back of my neck was burnt , arm getting tired, and my back starting to hurt . so it was 6:45pm , my bro's having good luck over there walked over for a HOW U DOIN chat, and he pulled pretty good .. 7 wheat's $5 bucks in change is not bad at all.. so i told him 20min we got to go for we get in trouble from our old Lady's . so i walked back to the 250 turned her on , and noticed 1 bar of batt left so got to go quick .. went further in the back of this shed and and got a quarter signal at 4in deep , so down i went and dug only to find this token that says "" LOANED FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY ' on one side and MILLS GOLDEN OFFICIAL " on the other side ..don't know what that is .. ??? so i was very happy with the day , great coins good collectors .. very nice so was my BRO ..
so guys that was my day out good fun ,, its a wonderful hobby .. KEEP SWINGING , because i will be swingin BACK ...

WTG!Congrats on the wheats and token!That old tire gauge is pretty cool, too!That's a nice little "cache" of pennies that you found, too. I've come across a few in my day, but they are few and far between. Nice hunt with good company! It don't git no better than this!Happy Hunting!
