Do I need to Update the Software if I have not Had the problem?

So far the CTX has worked without and sudden shut downs. What is the thinking out there in CTX land. Just do the update anyway or wait and see? Maybe the problem is not in every detector.
 
I havent and been getting along just fine with her. But I also only have about 10 hours on the machine.
 
I would keep up with all updates, there might be more to the update than just the shutdown problem.
 
I contacted Minelab with the same question. Their answer: Always upgrade to the newest verision of software.

On you guys advise I just did it and it went just fine. I just got the machine last night and I just downloaded Exchange2 tonight on my computer and I saw the yellow ! when I plugged the machine in to my computer with the cord.
