Does the adapter from Radio Shack work to

keep the speaker turned off when using headphones. Have read it does and read it does not work???????

I picked one up and tried it with my GG Ultimate headphones and it does work in the headphones and does shut the external speaker off. This was connected directly through the detector and not in the WM 10. The Radio Shack part number is 274-0360 cost was 2.99, next step, I am in the process of locating the plug for y own waterproof headphones...

The waterproof plugs are available for an over seas electronics distributor. They are about 30 bucks or so. I know a dealer here in NJ hasa bunch of them coming. He will also have waterproof headphones up and running (Not Koss)Will post as they become available.
