Does the old-style stock DFX coil work on the MXT ?

I have the old-style stock flat coil (BLM 950 I think) for the DFX. It has "DFX" with "Multiple Harmonic, Wide Band" on it. Is this coil completely compatible with the MXT ? I'm assuming it is but would like to know what an expert ( Larry ?!?) has to say. Thanks.

Same coil, different housing. The newer 950 is said to be "environmentally friendly" (different epoxy I presume) and they are also repairable. Other than those changes........sameo, sameo.
