Double die declaration

Are there any tricks or better ways to check a coin to see if it really is a double die strike? Redbook shows an example and in looking at the ‘43S Washington I found yesterday I tend to lean towards it could be one. Almost a dead ringer for the example but this one has some use so not definitive.

Had a friend who dabbles in coins. In God we Trust doesnt show anything but the date numbers semi suspicious. Ref to professional dealer in Spokane….
