During my 36+ years of ...

And as much animosity I feel towards people who have used the internet to injure other peoples reputations and trick them out of hard earned cash and lie about realities for personal agendas, which has been the REAL & Only reason why people have jumped this particular machine....I think it's high time it all ceases. Any posts that re-visits that mess without provocation are just stirring the pot. In most any other situation, the Tejon would have hit the market as another successful machine from Tesoro, and current Tesoro users AND others would have embraced it upon its own merits or decided against it in favor of another. That's the way it should be. Only the circumstances make this different and pretty ugly. And like you say, there is no hands down winning detector for all people...or we would all be using it! Good digging Pete.

Good writer with Tons of experience and savvy with all kinds of useful information that would make this or any other forum be very thankful for having him on board!

I think it's the hottest-performing Tesoro .... overall .... that I have ever used. The ones I put to work did well in many ways against quite a few makes & models.
However, .... as anyone would expect .... it didn't provide the type of performance I happened to want or need in every application I had for it.
Perhaps with a decent performing smaller coil in the 5

Your post adds up pretty good as I see it.
I have a Tejon and it is doing pretty good for me but I am talking only detector here and I like a two discriminator detector.
It does go deeper and has better discriminators then what I had used before. ( of this type)It was an upgrade for me from a Bandito-IIUmax But it does not feel as good using it as the Bandiro-IIumax as it is a different thing with its characteristics. I am satisfide with it but like you say its a new thing and eventually it may just become much better and improved.
In summary for me its doing a better job as a two discriminator, it has the depth range of a lot of other detectors that are rated pretty deep.
It is not the super super deep deep of all detectors but its good. ( has some rough edges to be improved upon I think) but can't say decent opinion at this time without more experience with it.
I am keeping mine.

You all should have an email stating why there is no Shadow team in the mickey mouse pay larry through the nose hunt. Enjoy and spread the truth around.

Hi Monte,
I know you like the LST alot and so do I. I was wondering what you thought of the Tejon's abilities on small gold compared to the LST. I am talking about gold down in the 1-2 grain range.
Thanks
