dx1 probe

just bought a dx1 probe.

havnt took it out and used it yet

so do most people just use it in the disc mode. or should you lock it in the pinpoint mode?

whats best way to use it?

I use both modes, discriminate to locate and analyze....... (nails, depth etc.) and then PP to find exactly where the target(s) are. Don't forget you still have ratchet function (squeeze trigger) to narrow it down.

I do it the same way as Larry. I really like my DX-1. It really helps and you cant forget it on the ground!
