E-Trac Coils Depth Chart

banditicey,

The distance from the bottom of the coil to the coin, etc. measured by a
home made cardboard ruler showing inch markings from 0' to 36".
These are under ideal conditions using an air test method.
I haven't had a chance to do a ground test since I only bought the E-Trac
yesterday and it rained today.
I'm sure ground conditions measurements will not be as good.
It's just a rough depth guide.

Wow, there must be something wrong with my Etrac. I only get 8" on a quarter air test. And that's the max for any coin.

sandnsea49,

Are you sure you have the sensitivity at 28 - 30 (manual), did a 'cancel', and in all metal mode
using the 11" Pro coil for greatest depth.

Thanks for the chart.. I am thinking of getting a different coil for depth. I have the stock DD and the sunray X-5 and want some extra depth for field hunting...
