E-Trac Manager having problems

I downloaded the E-Trac Manager and really like how you can create a pattern on your computer but I can't figure out how to transfer it to my E-Trac. I hit the upload button but nothing happens.
Can someone please explain how it's done.

It can't be done. Minelab doesn't want anyone getting ahold of the programming so programs have to be created on an E-Trac to move to another E-Trac.
 
Yes I love the etrackman aplication it is friendly and easy to use and edit. specialy for old folks like myself with litle com exp.
 
It works fine on mine, has your computer seen your MD for the first time yet and loaded the drivers? You have to plug in your MD and turn it on for Windows to see it and load the drivers WITHOUT ETrac Manager OR Xchange running. Once it sees your MD power off the MD and unplug it and reboot the computer. That should do it.
