E-TRAC TURNS ITSELF ON PROBLEM

Hi All
ive not had this mc very long but wondered if any one could clarify this problem-
when i put the battery pack into the mc it turns itself on,especially after i have used it.
if i press on-off switch before i put battery in it doesnt turn on
it seems as though control box is holding some static elec or is this norm its been like this since new
any help with this would be very much appreciated

I have not had that problem. It doesn't sound normal. There may be a problem with the on/off button. It may be shorting to the on position for some reason.

I would call warranty repair and have them take a look at it. It may be a faulty unit.

If you "drop in" the battery it can do that has happened to me a couple of times. Dosen't seem to be any effect on it.

Had this happen this morning for the first time... maybe its the moon phase! DOn't remember dropping the battery in though. Do recall , why is this turning on without button. DIdn't affect hunting though. HH, Mike
