Love the side-by side. Which one do you like the most?

I will put in my two cents since I had a T2 for a while.

The T2 is quite hot to run and now that I have an E-Trac I can handle a little bit of falsing as I'm used to that from the T2!
The E-Trac is a much much much better coin machine and it's not close. I would (and did) choose the cheaper Omega 8000 over the T2 as the ID stability and depth on coins (generally) was much better.
On relics or for hunting really small targets, the T2 I think would be better but I'm not a relic or micro hunter but can see from using both that the T2 is very sensitive on very very small targets, the other two machines are not.

The VDI stability of the T2 was the real downer for me (on deeper targets). Because of that and the trashier conditions I hunt in, it just wasn't a good coin machine in my soil (iron mineralized - big key).

i agree with earthmansurfer. I also hunt trashier parks and baseball fields, and like the explorer series and etrac for this. if i did farmfields maybe i would try the T2 again. CB

Great video,

I would agree. I had both the F75 LTD and the Omega 8000. Both were great machines but the E-Trac was the better coin detector for me. If I were a relic hunter I'd kept one of the others.

Congrats on the Silver to both you and your son. It is good to see you taking your son with you and teaching him this wonderful hobby. My hat is off to you.

BTW - Nice video and I love seeing comps here. I enjoyed hearing the T2 again, been a few years since we parted ways but it was my first digital machine.
