I started my Black Friday early looking for treasure at an old farmhouse. I snagged a very worn 1923 Mercury early in the hunt, I never seem to find any fresh dropped coins
. The dime was only down about 2" and was a great sounding signal but the FE numbers was up in the 20's, glad I dig by ear. Did not find much more after that until the neat Safety First FOB award from the Safety Committee from S.B.T&T Co. or Southern Bell Telegraph & Telephone Company. It was a fun short early morning hunt. I went back out later in the afternoon to my neighbors house which is an 1820's - 1830's plantation home and made a very nice Civil War find and a I will post it separate. Thanks for looking and good luck next time out, David.
