We have had a very mild January and has allowed for some good detecting weather. I had my best month on silver and found the most silver this last week. It hasn't been anything real old but has been a lot of fun. Saturday I had a chance to get in one last hunt for the month and went to an old school I've been trying to get on for a while now. It's a bit of a drive down there and the owner said he was wanting to detect it himself. So I scrambled to come up with another spot before dark. I headed down to a small wooded area that was next to some old schools but a new one was built and all the property was disturbed around it but this little patch of woods. There wasn't a lot of signals there but the first decent signal was a 1902 Barber quarter mixed in with some iron and I dug a 46 Rosie soon after and that was it. Those two silver put me at 25 silver coins for the month! It's been a really good start for the new year. HH David
