ENGLISH FLORIN

Goldstrike

Well-known member
Here is an 1922 English Florin I metal detected this last week in an English park. Although it's not worth much, it's a lot of fun to detect coins that you never see in California!!! I have found so many old coins from this park in the last 2 weeks, it's almost unbelievable!!!

Very nice coin, and old too. That's one for showing... excellent find.

Thanks Kschae4 and ual10 for your well wishes and comments! I have found so many odd items in the ground that would take up way too much space on the Forum to display but very interesting to figure out just what they are and how old they are!! Although I'm not a relic hunter, it truly is a relic hunters paradise here across the pond:ukflag:!!!
The weather has been fabulous and we are saving the best area for the last of our vacation and this week we will be hunting a very old and supposedly historical site in the countryside that we had to get special permission through a friend to detect and are assured it has not been detected before....we'll see!!....just can't wait!!![:twodetecting:H.H. everyone!!!/size]

What a great trip. Swing it once or twice for the rest of us!
HH,
Bunker
