Good morning just purchase Equinox800 I'm having problems connecting to the wireless headphones I turn on the head phones on as per instructions wait for two beeps then blue and red-light flashing then I turn on blue tooth seems Blue-tooth is constantly searching for the headphone with no luck connecting :(. I have done the initial set up. Any ideas thanks in advance.

From the off position press and hold the wireless button on the detector wait for tone response, approximately 5 seconds, the pairing take a bit keep the units close together. Watch the icons on the detector for progress.

If you have successfully completed the initial pairing then this should work. 1. Make sure the wireless headphones are turned OFF and are within 3 feet of the detector. 2. Turn the detector on and wait until it is ready to detect (about 5 to 10 seconds) and the wireless icon is flashing. 3. Turn on the headphones (short press on multi-function button) 4. It takes about 10 seconds for the pairing to take place and you should hear sounds on headphones..........Don

Hey Steve, Doing good, detecting San Diego beaches about twice a week with the NOX 800. Love the NOX. Hope all is well with you.

Usually when I start my 800 up as soon as I turn on the detector I turn on the headphones a they almost always pair right up together.
