Equinox Discrimination patterns??

New member
After getting the Equinox and noticing there are no preset\factory discrimination patterns loaded. Wanting to see what patterns that are being used. after using my Etrac and other machines with factory discrimination patterns already loaded, just wondering why ML didn’t do the same for the Nox or were they just in a hurry to get it out the door due to demand, did they opted not too. Anyhow let’s see what patterns hunters are working with by sharing them here.. HH

Huh?

Have a look at the manual

There are 8 detecting modes - each has pre-set levels of discrimination - each can then be user modified as desired.

Yes, to the 8 modes, but all are wide open not notching anything out.

Yes, notching/discrimination patterns are usually have presets on most machines.

The notching with the Equinox is single-dimensional and does not equate to the 2-dimensional FE/CO patterns of the Etrac/CTX. Another area in which the Equinox is arguably inferior, whatever advantages it offers in separation and unmasking.
