Etrac Back Light Brightness Question

I just received a new Etrac today and the display back light is really low, about 1/3 as bright compared to my friends Etrac. Is there any adjustment for this or is it a defective unit? Thanks for the help.
 
There is a contrast setting that might help. I don't recall any for "brightness" or backlight but once I found the sweet spot for contrast I've never changed it.

Thanks, I gave that a shot, but the over all brightness is just not there. I'll call the dealer tomorrow, I should be able to exchange it for another unit.
 
The backlight on the E-Trac is fairly weak... It is what it is.
