Etrac metal detecting in Connecticut

I'm going to be in Connecticut for the New Year and was wondering if there is anyone from this forum that use the E-trac there? If so, how does the etrac perform at the beach areas, and inland areas? What type soil conditions should I expect?

Thanks, davect70...A Ct metal detector dealer mentioned to me the etrac doesnt do well in Ct...I plan on going a couple of times while I'm here.
