Etrac weight

Can anyone tell me what the weight difference is between my EXII and the etrac and how much more weight is added when the X1 sunray is added onto it? I know the SE is 4 lbs and the etrac is 4.8 lbs. I cannot find the weight of the ExII? It feels awfully heavy. I use the 1050 DD coil. Love the coil, but hurts pretty good after a bit

For all those interested in the weight of these coils New

The E-Trac is better balanced than the Ex II which makes a big difference. They changed the handle angle. I'm sure others will have more the chime in on this. If you want lightweight, the X-Terra machines are super light, I know they are not an Exp or an E-Trac but maybe something to consider.

The E-Trac is 4 oz. heavier than the Safari I had - but much better balanced - and it's makes a huge difference !
I could only use my Safari for an hour or so before I had to lean against a tree and take a break .
Because of the ( I was told 15 degree angle change in the grip ) - I can use my E-Trac for over three hours straight without taking a break.
From what I've seen - the Explorer's and Safari's have similar grip angles.
So the bottom line is that even though it's a little heavier - the E-Trac is a lot easier on the arms and shoulders.

i have swing the etrac with the X-1 probe and stock coil in plowed fields for 6 hours straight with only a 30 second relief break...
with the 12x15 SEF, i was hurting after only 3 hours...
i am 53 years old and no big muscle guy. my hunting buddy kept right up with me too, also on the etrac.

I carry my X-1 probe in my left hand (I'm right handed :) along with my digger. It really helps take the load off, and it's real obvious when I do. I'm 68 and skinny...No muscles either.:nopity:
