Evil returned once again to the hotel..

Pete in MI

New member
those 'people' returned again to pursue the lust of the flesh. That was bad enough in itself. I thought it not wise but I don't get a say in these things (other than prayers to God).

While they did their whatever...never speak of the evil being done in secret...I had the pleasure of meeting a nice family...Christians and one daughter returned from Honduras where she was a missionary. I got to see pictures she had taken on their laptop.

There was Mom and Dad, this missionary and her husband, another young lady with her little baby and her husband and also 2 boys about 7 and 8 years old. They had a 'picnic' in our large meeting room while the 'evil doers' were in a combined smaller room. The activities of the sinners did not go unnoticed by this family who could see these 'people' as the entered and left the 'party' going on. Guess the theme was a pajama party. Luckily I felt the boys were swimming in the pool and didn't have to be exposed to such sights and sounds.

I was asked how I deal with these people. I said I am not to judge them so all I can do is pray for them. I should have prayed they would never come back this time.

After I went home things got much much worse. The next morning when I came in I heard a horror story. Seems after the family had gone to bed the 'party' extended to the pool...people swimming naked and the pool was closed...and the water was COLD..since the pool heater has been leaking so it isn't run much. So there was naked people screaming and yelling and waking people up. Several of our rooms have windows facing the pool and these 'people' felt it necessary to slide open the window of one or more rooms....one being the window of a mother...and her 2 boys I mentioned earlier! There they were naked waking up the family and exposing themselves not only to the missionary but to her small children as well!

Had it been me I'd have called the police and not bothered with management...who refused to come in Sunday morning to even talk to the family. From what I heard there will be a law suit over this...as well there should be. Coincidentally, the hotel is being foreclosed on and supposedly Saturday, when all of this started...the bank took over ownership of the building...and they appointed the previous owner to run the place. I can see the hotel being shut down soon once the bank gets wind of this. Glad God has another job for me...just hope I get it soon to keep the bills paid.

The 'party people' also when they picked up their 'stuff' and left Sunday morning cranked the heat in the two rooms to 80+ degrees...guess to teach us a lesson. They are not good people at all.

When I talked with the family Saturday, one commented that they looked like they were all over weight and had little respect for themselves. I explained what their problem is is a llack of satisfaction in their life. Those who are unsatisfied try to become satisfied and try different things...sex, drugs, and other things. Unfortunately they waste their lives in the pursuit of the true satisfaction they seek and that is Jesus. Until they find Jesus they will have no satisfaction. They are like the old pots...that do not hold water..they might et some temporary satisfaction but it will run out and they have to try something else..doing more to achieve the same level of satisfaction. To think of it as a mountain...you have to climb to the next plateau to ge the same thrill you had at the previous level. Now in reality that mountain is a pit...as you climb higher to the next plateau one is really digging a pit...each level being deeper and deeper until they get so far down they can no longer see God...when they 'bottom out' and have no where to turn, their lives are crumbling about them, all seems lost is when they cry out to God to save them from their bondage to sin and "I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. "~ Psalm 3:4, NLT Thank God He answers the cries of those who are lost.

These people are 'not there yet' and unfortunately are harming others along the way...as all do when seeking satisfaction that is not of God.

I'm praying for you to change from the motel job to the newer job and then, hopefully, you will not have to contend with the evilness displayed that you and the missionaries witnessed. I pray the hotel will close and the enemie, satan, will be defeated. Sin is all around us and as Christians, we each will see or hear it sometime, as we are in the world but not of it. Just pray for those people that God will help them draw closer to Him and then He will draw closer to them and they, hopefully, will be saved but some probably never will, as they enjoy sinning too much and think they are having fun! If they only knew what is their final end on God's Judgement Day, they surely would change their ways, but maybe they won't believe and don't care! The missionaries will need to explain to their children about the results of these people sinning and not to ever be trapped by satan as they are! Prayers for them, too! God Bless them and each of us, who are living in a sinful world, but look up our redemption is nigh and our Spirits will hear God's trumpeting call and rise up to meet Jesus in the air and forever be with our Lord and blessed Savior, Jesus! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for saving us, who love, worship and obey You and for all your blessings!

Please save those who will be saved and then Come Quickly, Lord Jesus! Amen! ( so be it ) God Bless! Betty

The nice family also became less than nice. They complained that the pool was too cold (75 degrees...highest we can have it is 80 degrees). I thought explaining a problem with the pool heater would give them an understanding of why it wasn't at the 80 degree mark. Instead of understanding 'that fact' was thrown into the face of the management who then chewed me a new butt. I was told if I am ever talked to my guests complaining of anything to say I will look into that...then go hide. Sounds like working for the government with their 2 policies...hide and if found lie. One of the sons of the management said he thought they were just trying to get free rooms for the weekend. I recall the older man saying (while viewing the pictures of Honduras) that "you could go to churches with these pictures and people would dig deep to donate money". Maybe he meant it is a Christian way to provide funds to help those in Honduras. Now I wonder...???

One other thing about the 'nice' family is that I made it a point to put up a barrier so when the evil ones walked down the hallway from their rooms to the party room, they would be obstructed from being viewed by their kids. So where did they set up camp? Right in the line of sight of the front door so they saw everyone entering and exiting the building and the party room ...especially as they were going to the bathroom across the hall. Add to that the comments they made about how scantily dressed they were...oggling them from a distance and make 'comments' about each...all seemed un=Christian. They could have not made a spectacle of themselves and maybe that is part the reason the evil ones harrassed them that night. I don't know.

I don't need this grief. We were to have an Administrative Team Meeting on Monday night. I have almost always had Mondays off and this made going to the meetings on Mondays ok. Casey had a Doctor appointment that afternoon and of course got called in to work to set up for a meeting. I was unable to make the meeting and I am the Administrative Team Leader. Was also told to get a couple bags of salt for de-icing the sidewalks at a certain store...the boss has no account there. Had to pay out my pocket to get his stufff. I did get reimbursed when I finally got to work.

Yes, by all means pray I find someplace else to work.

Well, Pete, I sure hope and pray God answers our prayers, quickly, and not all who call themselves Christians are, so in this world of sinfulness, even if they are and haven't grown as close to the Lord as they should, will fail to be Christ-like at times! Still be praying for them and all those who are ungodly in more ways than one! God wants them to come into His Kingdom also, but prayer and righteous living and writings are what speaks about Jesus' love and the changes they and all of us need! We each need our toes stepped on once in a while, for us to keep going up the mountain in the right direction! So, keep the faith, do good and let us love one another in Jesus' most holy love! God Bless! Betty
