those 'people' returned again to pursue the lust of the flesh. That was bad enough in itself. I thought it not wise but I don't get a say in these things (other than prayers to God).
While they did their whatever...never speak of the evil being done in secret...I had the pleasure of meeting a nice family...Christians and one daughter returned from Honduras where she was a missionary. I got to see pictures she had taken on their laptop.
There was Mom and Dad, this missionary and her husband, another young lady with her little baby and her husband and also 2 boys about 7 and 8 years old. They had a 'picnic' in our large meeting room while the 'evil doers' were in a combined smaller room. The activities of the sinners did not go unnoticed by this family who could see these 'people' as the entered and left the 'party' going on. Guess the theme was a pajama party. Luckily I felt the boys were swimming in the pool and didn't have to be exposed to such sights and sounds.
I was asked how I deal with these people. I said I am not to judge them so all I can do is pray for them. I should have prayed they would never come back this time.
After I went home things got much much worse. The next morning when I came in I heard a horror story. Seems after the family had gone to bed the 'party' extended to the pool...people swimming naked and the pool was closed...and the water was COLD..since the pool heater has been leaking so it isn't run much. So there was naked people screaming and yelling and waking people up. Several of our rooms have windows facing the pool and these 'people' felt it necessary to slide open the window of one or more rooms....one being the window of a mother...and her 2 boys I mentioned earlier! There they were naked waking up the family and exposing themselves not only to the missionary but to her small children as well!
Had it been me I'd have called the police and not bothered with management...who refused to come in Sunday morning to even talk to the family. From what I heard there will be a law suit over this...as well there should be. Coincidentally, the hotel is being foreclosed on and supposedly Saturday, when all of this started...the bank took over ownership of the building...and they appointed the previous owner to run the place. I can see the hotel being shut down soon once the bank gets wind of this. Glad God has another job for me...just hope I get it soon to keep the bills paid.
The 'party people' also when they picked up their 'stuff' and left Sunday morning cranked the heat in the two rooms to 80+ degrees...guess to teach us a lesson. They are not good people at all.
When I talked with the family Saturday, one commented that they looked like they were all over weight and had little respect for themselves. I explained what their problem is is a llack of satisfaction in their life. Those who are unsatisfied try to become satisfied and try different things...sex, drugs, and other things. Unfortunately they waste their lives in the pursuit of the true satisfaction they seek and that is Jesus. Until they find Jesus they will have no satisfaction. They are like the old pots...that do not hold water..they might et some temporary satisfaction but it will run out and they have to try something else..doing more to achieve the same level of satisfaction. To think of it as a mountain...you have to climb to the next plateau to ge the same thrill you had at the previous level. Now in reality that mountain is a pit...as you climb higher to the next plateau one is really digging a pit...each level being deeper and deeper until they get so far down they can no longer see God...when they 'bottom out' and have no where to turn, their lives are crumbling about them, all seems lost is when they cry out to God to save them from their bondage to sin and "I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. "~ Psalm 3:4, NLT Thank God He answers the cries of those who are lost.
These people are 'not there yet' and unfortunately are harming others along the way...as all do when seeking satisfaction that is not of God.
